Christmas cards made by Kaunas Versvu Gymnasium studets were sent to project partners by snail mail. The cards were made from used materials. Cristmas cards exhibition was organised at gymnasium before Christmas 2015.

International Water Day in Kaunas Versvu Gymnasium
Kaunas Veršvų Gymnasium student council and the public Medical surveillance specialist J. Masteikienė organized various activities for International Water Day held on March 22nd, 2017. The billboard with useful information about the importance of water was prepared. The teachers were treated with water, flavored with lemon and mint. On classrooms doors water droplets were sticked where teachers and students wrote sayings and their thouts about water. 5th grade students had a test about water and the winners were rewarded with drinking bottles.
Cleaning the Environment in Veikkola School
In Veikkola school we arrange a Clean the Environment Day at least once a year. That’s when all our pupils go in turns to collect all the trash around the school and neighbouring area. Pictures are from September 2017.
Moreover in our school we have a Take What You Eat week in September when it’s emphasised to the pupils how much food goes to waste and how with little changes they can make a difference.
Trying Ebru at Veikkola School
A couple of 9th grade students in Veikkola school tried marbeling art in their art lesson. This was a good start and the technique will be used more in the future, says art teacher Kristiina Tumelius.
